The following Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) outline Debit Card Cashback Promotional Campaign (the “Campaign”) by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (New Zealand) Limited (“ICBC”, “us”, “our” or “we”) in which eligible ICBC customers are rewarded by using our debit card.
This Campaign and its Terms are made available in connection with and in addition to our General Terms and Conditions (the “General Terms”) between us and our clients. In case of discrepancies between the provisions of these Terms and the General Terms, the General Terms will prevail. By participating in the Campaign, you agree and accept the Terms in full.
1.Campaign Period
The Campaign runs from 1st of October 2025 up until the 31st of March 2026.
2.Eligibility and Participation
The Campaign is available to all our retail customers that hold our UnionPay Debit Card (Card number starting with 62303410 and 62303420).
3.Scope
During the campaign period, purchase transactions made with ICBC NZ UnionPay debit cards via UnionPay POS terminals, UnionPay online payments, or ICBC PAY (UnionPay QR code) in countries and regions outside Chinese mainland, including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan are eligible. Transactions processed by New Zealand's local EFTPOS channel are excluded.
4.Offer
With the ICBC New Zealand UnionPay Debit Card, for every single purchase transaction equivalents to NZD 10 or more, NZD 1 will be credited to the card holder’s account as a cashback. Transaction amounts below the equivalent of NZD 10 are not eligible for cashback. The maximum cumulative cashback per card shall not exceed NZD 100 during the entire Campaign Period.
Cashback payments will be calculated and credited to your ICBC New Zealand current account in NZD every Wednesday (or subsequent Wednesday if that falls on a national public holiday) from 8th October, 2025 onwards on a first come first serve basis subject to a pre-determined total amount.
5. General Dispositions
5.1.Please contact us within 30 days of receiving the cashback by calling 0800 995 588 if you disagree with the cashback payment amount. Otherwise, we will deem that you agree with the cashback payment amount and any rights to contest it will be waived.
5.2.Payments of cashback under the present Terms may be delayed in case of any unforeseen events outside our control.
5.3.We may at any time revoke you eligibility to the Campaign in case you breach our cardholder agreements, our General Terms, or any other agreements you might have with us.
5.4.We reserve the right to modify these Terms (including but not limited to the Campaign period, eligibility criteria, and reward method), suspending the Campaign or terminating it at any time. We will notify you of any changes to or revocation of these Terms through one or more of the available channels (such as our website, via text messages, newspapers announcements, or posters in our Queen Street Branch).
5.5.In addition to the above, the total cashback amount offered by this Campaign under clause 4 is limited to a pre-determined amount on a first come first serve basis. In case that amount is reached before the end of the Campaign’s Period, we will provide notice of the early termination of the Campaign via our website (www.icbcnz.com).
5.6.In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of the Terms and Conditions of this promotion, the Chinese version shall prevail.
