Teller,Retail Banking Department

Broker Relationship Manager, Retail Banking Department
1
1. Assisting Head of Retail to estabilish broker channel for retail lending products, including setting up internal procedure and developing broker relationship 1. Bachelor degree qualified in a relevant discipline
2. Processing the broker deals, keying in the application in the Bank's systems and following up on related lending service 2. 6+ years experience in retail banking and minimum 4 years in a Relationship Manager role within Broker Channel
3. Providing brokers with regular updates on bank credit policy together with Risk Management Department 3. Track record of achieving targets and building good long-term relationships with brokers
4. Maintaining borrower's portfolio and maximising cross sale opportunity 4. Good understanding of retail products and business procedures, significant sales and training skills in financial services
5. Monitoring and analysing broker loans performance, delivering the report to Head of Retail and Brokers and training advisers accordingly, to maintain high quality of broker loan portfolio 5. Strong knowledge and understanding of credit writing/strategy/analysing, as well as portfolio management
6. Keeping close and effective communication and good relationship with existing brokers, and developing new brokers as well to grow broker-initated loan volume and revenue 6. Demonstrated strong sales ability to acquire new business

Senior Credit Manager, Credit and Risk Management

1. Bring strong local knowledge, lending assessment skills and experience to broaden the depth of risk management of ICBC (NZ). 1. A strong work ethic comfortable working in a small team and interested in working in a challenging multi-cultural environment.
2. Assess the overall creditworthiness of funding applications (corporate and syndicated loans and trade finance facilities) and make recommendations for structuring lending facilities that mitigate risks and facilitate customer solutions that contribute to sustainable business growth through balancing risk and return. 2. Relevant background would include credit risk specialists, seasoned portfolio managers or banking /corporate finance specialists in accounting/legal/consulting.
3. Utilise experience to identify opportunities to mitigate risks and enhance revenue. 3. Must have at least 3-5 years' work experience in the commercial/business credit assessment and risk analysis in one of medium to larger banks and subject to experience may consider suitable applicants on a part-time basis.
4. Make recommendations to the Credit Risk Committee and/or Board Risk Committee on individual credit applications. 4. Mandarin speaker would be an advantage but is not essential.
5. Provide active input on the management of the overall lending portfolio including early identification of industry and/or individual customer deterioration to proactively identify and remedy emerging high risk customers and/or concentrations.
6. Act as a subject matter expert and assist develop and enhance credit risk boundaries, policies and practices.
7. Build and maintain multiple internal and external relationships, interact knowledgeably about legal related lending issues and be able to confidently negotiate with a wide range of professionals.
Credit Analyst, Corporate & Institutional Banking

1. Working closely with the relationship managers to actively manage loan portfolio to meet required daily service level, overseeing end-to-end process of credit, implementing loan drawdown and repayment, interest and fee collection, interest rate reset etc. 1. A tertiary qualification in finance, economics, accounting or quantitative finance is desirable;
2. Conducting timely loan and agency services including interest and fee calculation, funds allocation, notice and advice distribution etc. 2. Capability to work independently and detail-oriented; Excellent time management techniques;
3. Assisting relationship managers with transactional banking queries. 3. Strong technical and problem solving skills; hands-on experience with MS Office and specifically Excel and Access;
4. Maintaining bank databases and monitoring loan performance. 4. Reasonable interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure.
5. Archiving loan documents in compliance with bank policies. 5. Prior experience with loan administration, corporate finance and quantitative analysis is preferred.
6. Conducting periodic audits of loan files. 6. Knowledge of Chinese language is a plus.
7. Prepare reports required by the risk management department, audit and compliance department, local regulatory authorities, Head Office etc. 7. Eligible to work in New Zealand.
8. Assisting relationship managers in carrying out appropriate financial modelling, credit analysis and preparing for credit application.
